Do I need a Twilio account?

Yes — that's the point. Your numbers and usage live in your own Twilio account at wholesale rates, so nobody can mark them up or hold them hostage. Creating one takes a few minutes, and the setup checklist walks you through connecting it.

What happens when the free trial ends?

Your first payment goes through automatically after day 14. Cancel any time before that and you pay nothing at all.

Can my whole team really answer one number?

Yes. Calls ring every teammate who has the app open; texts land in the shared inbox where anyone can pick them up. You can also assign numbers to specific people.

Who owns the phone numbers?

You do — they're in your Twilio account, not ours. If you ever leave, they leave with you.

Does it work on our phones?

Yes. It installs as an app on desktop, Android, and iPhone, and push notifications arrive even when the app is closed.

What about A2P / 10DLC registration?

US carriers require registration before businesses can text at volume. It happens inside your Twilio account, and our step-by-step guide takes you through it.
